The bananas grown on our farms belong to the Musa acuminata genus, a subgroup of the Cavendish variety, recognized worldwide for its excellent flavor, texture, and its multiple nutritional benefits. For every 100 bananas consumed in the market, 4 of them are Unibán.
Our 207 farms have 19,608.74 hectares of bananas in production. We implement the most modern and innovative agricultural practices in order to achieve a product of excellent quality.
OUR PRODUCERS are certified under various environmental, social and safety regulations, ensuring the highest international guidelines in terms of agricultural and manufacturing practices.

We sell Hartón plantains and popocho or burro plantains, which are grown by our producers in the Urabá region and in the department of Chocó. We have 8,687 hectares distributed across 2,155 farms that allow us to meet the demand for this product in the international market.
We rank first in Colombian plantain exports, a distinguished product recognized worldwide as a tropical ethnic food known for its unique texture and sweet flavor.
