On Tuesday, May 10th, Turbana was notified as the recipient of the 2022 sofi™ Award in the category of Pretzels, Rice Cakes & Salty Snacks, with our cassava chips being recognized as the best new product of the year. Among the 2,000 product submissions across 53 categories, the cassava chips were selected, along with 102 other products, as winners of the award. Judges evaluated based on taste, quality, appearance, texture, aroma, ingredients, and innovation.

The sofi™ Awards, presented by the Specialty Food Association, have been recognized in the food industry since 1972. This sector represents over $170.4 billion in annual sales. The winners will be honored at the upcoming Fancy Food Show in New York from June 12th to June 14th, 2022.
