The Private Social Investment Index reflects the impact of our actions aimed at strengthening communities, promoting sustainable development, and protecting biodiversity.
For several years, as a company, we have been intensifying efforts and adopting sustainable practices within our operations with a firm commitment to managing the environmental and ecosystem impacts generated by our activities. We are also directly involved in the recovery of habitats and species declared endangered. These and other actions, forming part of our sustainability strategy, are the pillars on which we build intervention plans and collaborations with our workforce and communities to foster a solid and lasting socio-environmental awareness in the regions where we operate.
Private Social Investment Index: A Commitment That Transforms
As a result of this effort, we were recently recognized in the Private Social Investment Index evaluation conducted by the firm Jaime Arteaga y Asociados. For years, this firm has been dedicated to measuring the private sector’s efforts to improve the living conditions of communities or population groups through investments in social and environmental projects. This year, during its event held in Bogotá, our commitment to sustainability and the well-being of communities in the regions where we are present was highlighted.
In this evaluation, we ranked 19th out of 175 participating organizations. Additionally, we received recognition in three key dimensions:
- Synergy, which acknowledged our focus on fostering public-private partnerships.
- Management, which emphasized our efforts in terms of investment.
- Targeting, which praised the broad impact of our initiatives on diverse audiences.
It is important to emphasize that sustainability has been a longstanding priority for our company. Guided by our sustainability strategy and supported by the contributions of our foundation, we have been able to establish meaningful connections to build sustainable environments and create shared value for all our stakeholders. This recognition encourages and motivates us to continue working for Colombian agriculture alongside our producers and to protect the planet.
