The transfer of knowledge and the strengthening of skills is a necessary activity that not only contributes to the development of the regions but also facilitates the enhancement of the human resources working in the banana industry.

Recently, a working meeting was held at the University of Magdalena, with the participation of the technical secretariat of  The University Industry Government Committee (CUEE) of Sierra Nevada, CUEES Urabá, Unibán, and Unibán Foundation. The meeting focused on the transfer of capabilities and work methodologies, including participation dynamics and the positioning of the roles these committees play in the regions. Additionally, the meeting discussed the progress of talent development initiatives led by Unibán Foundation, with the goal of creating employment opportunities for the youth in the region and for entrepreneurs who contribute to growth and development through science, technology, and innovation.

This meeting laid the foundation for the coordinated work that has been ongoing for several months. It has also been instrumental in training the necessary human resources in the banana agro-industry, with the involvement of technical and technological education institutions such as SENA ( National Learning Service) and the banana industry association.
